Natascha McElhone is a British actress, best known for her roles in film and television. Born as Natasha Abigail Taylor on December 14, 1969, in Surrey, England, she adopted her stage name from her mother's maiden name.
McElhone's acting career began in the theater, with her first significant on-screen role in the television adaptation of "Absolutely Fabulous" in 1992. She gained wider recognition for her performance in the science fiction film "The Truman Show" (1998), starring alongside Jim Carrey.
