About the cover model:
The Duggar family is known for their appearance on the reality TV show "19 Kids and Counting," which aired on TLC from 2008 to 2015. The show chronicled the lives of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and their 19 children, whose names all start with the letter "J". The Duggars are devout Independent Baptists and are known for their conservative values, including their practices of homeschooling all their children and adhering to strict guidelines on modesty and courtship.
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar first gained national attention with appearances on several TLC and Discovery Health documentaries about their large family before getting their own series. Their family consists of Josh, Jana, John-David, Jill, Jessa, Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn-Grace, and Josie.
The show faced controversy and was eventually canceled in 2015 following allegations that the eldest son, Josh Duggar, had molested several girls, including some of his sisters, when he was a teenager. Since the cancellation of "19 Kids and Counting," several of the Duggar children have been featured in a spin-off series called "Counting On," which focuses on the lives of the older Duggar children as they marry and start families of their own.
The Duggar family's approach to life, including their views on birth control, which they oppose, and their decision to leave the number of children they have "up to God," has sparked both admiration and criticism. They have also been involved in political activism, with Jim Bob serving as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1999 to 2002.
As of my last update in April 2023, the Duggar family continues to be a subject of public interest, both for their continued television appearances and the controversies surrounding them, including legal issues involving Josh Duggar.
