Anja Rubik, born on June 12, 1983, in Rzeszów, Poland, is a renowned Polish model, activist, philanthropist, and businesswoman. Her family, including her father, a veterinary professional, moved to Greece in 1983. They later lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and Umtata, Transkei, South Africa, before returning to Poland in 1994. Rubik started her modeling career early, participating in the Elite Model Look contest at the age of thirteen and joining the D’ivision Model Agency. She moved to Paris at seventeen, where she completed her studies at a British high school, École Bilingue, and pursued modeling more seriously.
