About the cover model:

"Saved by the Bell" is an American television sitcom that aired from 1989 to 1993. The show was created by Sam Bobrick and is a retooling of the Disney Channel series "Good Morning, Miss Bliss," which was set in Indianapolis, Indiana, and focused on the character Miss Bliss, played by Hayley Mills. The focus shifted in "Saved by the Bell" to the students of Bayside High School in Pacific Palisades, California, with Miss Bliss's character being written out.
The series became iconic for its portrayal of teen life and its ensemble cast. The main characters include Zack Morris (played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar), the charming and sometimes scheming student; A.C. Slater (played by Mario Lopez), the jock; Kelly Kapowski (played by Tiffani-Amber Thiessen), the cheerleader; Lisa Turtle (played by Lark Voorhies), the fashionista; Samuel "Screech" Powers (played by Dustin Diamond), the geek; and Jessie Spano (played by Elizabeth Berkley), the straight-A student and feminist.
"Saved by the Bell" focused on the typical problems faced by teenagers, from schoolwork and relationships to more serious themes such as drug use and environmental issues, albeit in a light-hearted and comedic manner. The show was notable for its use of time-outs, where Zack would break the fourth wall to address the audience directly, a feature that contributed to its distinctive style.
Following its original run, the show spawned several spin-off series, including "Saved by the Bell: The College Years" and "Saved by the Bell: The New Class," as well as two TV movies. It left a lasting impact on pop culture and is remembered fondly by those who grew up watching it. In 2020, a revival series was launched on Peacock, NBCUniversal's streaming service, bringing back some of the original cast members and introducing new characters.
