*********About the cover model: Jill Biden************

Jill Tracy Biden (née Jacobs), born on June 3, 1951, in Hammonton, New Jersey, has built a distinguished career as an educator, author, and the First Lady of the United States. She earned her reputation through decades of teaching, advocacy for military families, and her support for community college education.

Jill Biden married Joe Biden in 1977, becoming a stepmother to Beau and Hunter Biden, Joe Biden's sons from his first marriage. The couple also has a daughter together, Ashley. Prior to becoming the First Lady, she was the Second Lady of the United States from 2009 to 2017, during Joe Biden's vice presidency under President Barack Obama.

Academically, Jill Biden has achieved significant credentials. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Delaware, two Master's degrees — one in education from West Chester University and another in English from Villanova University — and a Doctorate in Education from the University of Delaware, obtained in 2007. Her doctoral dissertation focused on maximizing student retention in community colleges.

Professionally, Dr. Biden has been committed to education for over three decades, teaching English and reading in high schools for thirteen years, and later working with adolescents with emotional disabilities at a psychiatric hospital. Beyond her high school teaching, she has been a long-standing professor at Delaware Technical Community College, where she has taught English and writing.

As the Second Lady, she advocated for military families through the Joining Forces initiative, co-founded with then-First Lady Michelle Obama, and worked to highlight the importance of community colleges and support for cancer research and education. Jill Biden continued to teach during her husband's vice presidency, marking a historic commitment to her profession while in a political role.

As the First Lady, she has continued to focus on education, military families, and cancer research advocacy. Notably, she is the first First Lady to maintain a full-time job outside of her White House duties, teaching English and writing at Northern Virginia Community College.

Jill Biden's personal interests include running, and she has completed several marathons. Her memoir, "Where the Light Enters: Building a Family, Discovering Myself," published in 2019, offers insight into her life, values, and the role of family in her journey.

Her dedication to education, family, and public service defines Jill Biden's public life, showcasing her as a figure of resilience, commitment, and advocacy in the American public sphere.
