Halsey, born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane on September 29, 1994, is an American singer, songwriter, and activist. She gained recognition with her self-released music on social media platforms and subsequently signed with Astralwerks in 2014. Her debut EP, "Room 93," was released the same year, followed by her debut studio album, "Badlands," in 2015.
