About the cover model:

Talaya Frazier is an inspiring individual who has dedicated her life to wellness, philanthropy, and helping others. Born in New Mexico, she graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in biomed and nutritional science. Her journey into wellness deepened when she faced her daughter Cheyanna's health challenges. Diagnosed with "Failure to Thrive" due to fructose and sucrose malabsorption, Talaya turned to nutrition and Eastern medicine to help her daughter, eventually leading to Cheyanna's healing.
Talaya's stress relief came through running, which she started in 2006 in honor of her daughter. She has completed over 34 marathons, including 10 consecutive Boston Marathons, and was part of Team USA for the Half-Iron Man. Her athletic endeavors are intertwined with her mission to promote wellness and support others.
In 2012, Talaya founded Cheyanna’s Champions for Children (CC4C), a non-profit dedicated to enhancing the lives of children in Texas with rare or undiagnosed medical conditions. The organization has raised over 5 million dollars since its inception, helping hundreds of children. Talaya's faith played a significant role in overcoming the challenges of starting and running the non-profit. She lives by the principle of living for the audience of one: The Lord Jesus Christ, which guided her through doubts and fears.
Talaya's life is marked by her commitment to her faith, her family, and her community. She has been married for over 26 years to her college sweetheart, Kenny, and is a proud mother to her daughters. She finds joy in nature, particularly the mountains, and in creating and maintaining traditions. As her children grew older, she found herself in a season of rest, allowing her to focus on her jewelry business, Genesis Jewelry, founded by her mother in 1975.
Her philosophy towards aging is centered around the development of a beautiful heart, which she believes is the true source of radiance and beauty. Her next adventure involves rebranding and launching Genesis Fine Jewelry. She advises younger generations to embrace life, prioritize sleep, and not worry too much about the small stuff like dirty dishes in the sink.
Talaya Frazier's life and work exemplify her commitment to wellness, her faith, and her dedication to helping others, especially children with rare or undiagnosed conditions
